How to find your frame width
Woolet 007 and 009 have a 158 mm front and fit faces 155-161 mm wide. Faces outside that range get Woolet Bespoke, made to any width from 145 to 172 mm. You need one number: your face width, temple to temple, in millimetres.
Option 1: FitLens - your phone camera, about a minute
Open FitLens in your phone browser - nothing to install. Hold the phone at arm's length, look straight ahead, and FitLens returns your temple-to-temple width in millimetres with a size recommendation: Woolet 158 or Bespoke.
Option 2: a ruler and a mirror
- Stand facing a mirror in good light. Hold a ruler level at eye height, touching your face.
- Read the distance between the outer edges of your temples - the widest point just beside your eyes, not your ears.
- Take the reading twice. Use the larger number.
Option 3: two bank cards
A standard bank card is 85.6 mm long. Hold two cards end to end across your face, temple to temple. If two cards barely span your face - or do not span it at all - your face is 155 mm or wider, and Woolet 158 is built for you.

Signs your current frames are too narrow
- Red pressure marks on your temples after a couple of hours.
- Temples that your optician keeps bending outward - until they snap.
- A frame that ends before your face does, so it looks borrowed in photos.
Typical high-street frames are 140-145 mm wide; the "large" size from big brands is about 148-150 mm. If that is you, the problem was never your face - it was the measurement.
