“Twenty years of frames that pinched. These are the first pair I forget I'm wearing.”
Big head sunglasses usually come in two kinds: cheap wraparounds, or a designer frame stretched until the proportions look wrong. Neither was designed for your face.
Woolet 009 Soft Square is 158 mm across the front. Most brands build to 138–145 mm and call it one size fits most. It fits most. It never fit you.
Drawn wide from the start — not stretched
An XL version of a standard frame is scaled up from a narrow base, so the bridge and lens spacing still fight a wide face. Woolet 009 was drawn at 158 mm from scratch. The temples sit past your face instead of into it, and the 25 mm keyhole bridge rests on the sides of your nose rather than the top — which is what stops sunglasses sliding down on a warm day.

Not sure of your number? Hold two credit cards end to end across your face, temple to temple. A card is 85.6 mm. If two cards barely span it — or don't span it at all — you are 153 mm or wider, and this is your size.
Lenses
Full UV400 protection — blocks the entire UVA and UVB range, not just glare. Polarized available on request.
Hand-cut Italian Mazzucchelli acetate
Cut by hand from Italian Mazzucchelli acetate milled in Milan, not injection-moulded. The colour runs through the material, so a scratch never turns white — which matters more on sunglasses, because they live in bags and on dashboards. Hand made in EU.
Three colours
- Black — one clean rectangle, nothing decorative, works with everything
- Havana — takes the edge off the square front and warms against the skin
- Silver Clear — transparent, so the shape stays and the visual weight disappears
Square sunglasses on a big head
A square sunglass is the classic shape for a broad face, and the one most brands only sell in a narrow size. The 009 carries a 54 × 44 mm lens - wide coverage at the sides, where glare comes in when you drive. The flat top line sits parallel to the brow, so no light leaks in over the frame. The 25 mm keyhole bridge keeps the weight off the top of the nose, which matters on a hot day when skin gets slippery.
30 days to be sure
If the fit is not right, send them back within 30 days of delivery — unworn, in their case — for a full refund. Return shipping is on you; nothing else is. If they arrive faulty, we cover everything.
